We geared up since late last spring to help Augustana with a record setting celebration. To recognize some its donors and major accomplishments with the Momentum Augustana campaign, which raised $120 million, Mud Mile and our friends at ADwërks worked with the team at Augustana for the Rattle & Hum event in December.
Influenced by the rattle of inspiration that became the hum of innovation, we helped create videos to tell the Momentum Augustana story, from the perspective of donors, students, professors and college leaders. The interviews took us to western South Dakota to track down a steam engine train and back closer to home to meet with the families who helped fund the next horizon for Augustana. We also partnered with ADwërks to tell the Rattle & Hum story through invitations and even a vovelle documenting the milestones of Momentum Augustana.
And everything came together in early December when donors gathered for a party that not only hummed (thanks to Augustana alumnus Noah Hoehn whose harmonica skills entertained) but rattled along as Cirque performers filled the room and Augustana President Rob Oliver even rode on a rotating stage!
