Scholars Together Towards Tomorrow

Mud Mile was honored to help the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation celebrate its 29th class of scholars during the annual scholars weekend in Atlanta, GA. The Foundation awards 150 of the most promising, service-minded high school seniors in America a $20,000 scholarship.

But more importantly, they’re welcomed into a family of scholar alumni that impact communities around the world.

Our team produced two videos for the annual scholar banquet where the students are honored in spectacular fashion. Our first video was an animated piece featuring some of the Foundation’s leadership.

We used photos to bring our real life characters to life in an animated world. And their namesakes provided the voiceover. The goal of this piece was to get the audience to settle into their seats so the banquet could begin on time.

Next, we interviewed dozens of Coke Scholar alumni to create a welcome to the family piece that played during the banquet.

The video also served as a bridge to introduce Gracie Schram, a 2016 Scholar, to the stage for a beautiful musical performance.

Then the gang worked day and night to document the rest of the weekend.

Our team churned out several instant productions, allowing the Foundation to release daily recap videos through their social media channels to the Coke Scholar family.

The only thing left to do now is sift through ten-plus hours of interviews and broll to put together a more polished presentation of the weekend.

We’re cracking a Coca-Cola now to get properly caffeinated! We look forward to sharing that video (and a Coke) with you soon!
